This commission deals with all aspects of SN Judo including VI's / Special Olympics and judo at all levels for athletes with disabilities. It has a committee with members from the 4 home countries- England/Wales/Scotland and N.Ireland.

This committee is answerable to the British Judo Association which is the governing body for judo in Great Britain.

These are exciting times with so much progress, we need your help;

If you have a SN Person in your club in GB. Please email thier details to Jean Cleere, so that they and the club can recieve information.It will also help us with an athletes database in GB.

The Director of the Commission is ; Mr Dave Clark

This commission is forming a GB Squad and from here a team will be selected for the Major International Tournaments.

It will consist of a Director/Head Referee/ Head Coach/Manager Assistant Coach Males/Manager Assistant Coach Females/16 Athletes/Team Physiotherapist and 4 support staff.

This commission as already put in place a SN Grading System for Juniors and a SN Dan Grade Syllabus. Within the next couple of months a KYU Grade syllabus will be published.

It is also working closely in working with the Special Olympics Great Britain Organisation.

A calendar of events is being put together for athletes throughout GB, FOR 2007/2008/2009/2010 AND 2011
